Product description

The Modig IM series of Inverted Machines were born to meet the demands of today's manufacturing, characterized by increasingly geometric part tolerances, complexity of parts and components and fastest production times within the industry. With a patented design and two spindles working from below, this high-speed inverted machining center sets a new standard for 5-axis machining. Multiple spindle for higher productivity and lower overall manufacturing costs.

Modig's IM-4 DUO, IM-6 DUO and IM-8 DUO have extremely fast cutting times, making the machine suitable for industries characterized by high volumes, fast lead times and high complexity. A cast iron base around the frame makes the machine extremely rigid, allowing the tool to work with extreme precision. Inverted machining facilitates chip evacuation and reduces coolant consumption. Gravity causes chips to fall naturally from the workpiece and work area, which, together with its stability, results in higher performance.
