Product description

The Modig IM series of Inverted Machines were born to satisfy today's manufacturing, characterized by increasingly geometric part tolerances, complexity of parts and components and faster production times within the industry. With a patented design and two spindles working from below, this high-speed inverted machining center sets a new standard for 5-axis machining. It also has a multiple spindle for greater productivity and lower overall manufacturing costs.

Modig's IM-4 DUO, IM-6 DUO and IM-8 DUO have extremely fast cutting times, making them suitable for industries characterized by high volumes, fast lead times and high complexity. A cast iron base around the frame makes the machine extremely rigid, allowing the tool to work with extreme precision. Inverted machining facilitates chip evacuation and reduces coolant consumption. Gravity causes the chips to fall naturally from the work area, which, together with their stability, results in greater performance.
