{"id":1619,"date":"2024-06-11T01:48:56","date_gmt":"2024-06-11T01:48:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/new.hemaq.com\/osp-p500-de-okuma-el-control-cnc-definitivo\/"},"modified":"2025-03-07T20:52:55","modified_gmt":"2025-03-07T20:52:55","slug":"okuma-cnc-osp-p500-from-okuma-the-control","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hemaq.com\/en\/okuma-cnc-osp-p500-from-okuma-the-control\/","title":{"rendered":"OSP-P500: Okuma&#8217;s control that reinvents the industry"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.okuma.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Okuma CNC<\/a> presents: As part of the 2024 edition of ExpoMaq, an event that took place from June 18-20 of this year, we were fortunate and proud to carry out the exclusive presentation for Latin America of the newest in CNC Technology: the new CNC control from Okuma, the long awaited OSP-P500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Designed to be the exemplar of the new generation of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hemaq.com\/en\/equipments\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hemaq.com\/equipos-tornos-cnc-centros-de-maquinado-cnc\/\">CNC controls <\/a>in the metalworking industry, the Okuma CNC OSP-P500 has much greater processing power, enabling the execution of various intelligent technologies, system monitoring and cycle time optimization for Okuma CNC machine tools.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hemaq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/antesydespues-1.webp\" alt=\"\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hemaq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/img1-1.webp\" alt=\"okuma cnc\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>The ergonomic redesign of the panel, available in 15\u201c and 21.5\u201d, allows for more user-friendly operation.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>New features and options include: increased processing power to run different applications simultaneously; 15\u201c or 21.5\u201d display; and the implementation of the Smart OSP Operation system, which allows for simplified use of the control with conversational programming. In addition, its Digital Twin technology enables the operator to verify the machining program, tool displacement and measure interferences before starting to machine thanks to its technology that replicates CNC machining virtually.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hemaq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Imagen-2-1024x342.webp\" alt=\"\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Digital Twin technology simulates machining processes from the office and directly on the CNC equipment.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Okuma&#8217;s unique Digital Twin <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hemaq.com\/en\/equipments\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hemaq.com\/equipos-tornos-cnc-centros-de-maquinado-cnc\/\">CNC technology<\/a> allows CNC machining to be prepared in advance from the office, known as front loading. Thus, the physical setup time of the CNC Equipment can be reduced by digitally simulating the next parts while the machining already started continues.
